Join us for easy and inexpensive recipes you are sure to love! This week our recipe is for a great party snack, deviled eggs! I always loved these as a kid, and I remember being shocked the first time I made them and realized just how easy these tasty treats are.

Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

6 large eggs

3-4 tbsp. mayonnaise

1 tsp. mustard

1 tsp. pickle juice

Salt

Pepper

Paprika

Steps:

  1. First, we hard-boil the eggs. In a pot, submerge your eggs in enough water they are at least 1 inch below the surface and bring the water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, turn the heat off entirely and cover the pot, allow to sit for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Remove the eggs and immediately put in a bowl of ice-cold water. Let sit for 15-20 minutes, until eggs are completely cool.
  4. Remove the shells and cut lengthwise, then remove all the yolks, placing them into a bowl and the egg whites to the side.
  5. Smash the egg yolks with a fork, then add the mayonnaise, the mustard, the pickle juice and the salt and pepper. Try to add less mayonnaise then necessary at first, adding more until the filling looks right. Mix thoroughly
  6. Fill egg whites back up with your filling. A fun way to do this is to fill a sandwich bag with the mixture, cut off a corner, then squeeze the filling into the eggs!
  7. Sprinkle with paprika and serve!
