Week Calendar

Each week there will be crafts and other activities to enjoy. Find these fun activities in our Children's Department every day throughout the month! Available during library hours.

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay as long as you like, environment.

A theme-based storytime featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement.

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome. 

Explore science through a variety of hands-on activities. Observe and experiment through play as we learn about the weather. We will also read a book, sing a song, and learn a new rhyme.

Tai chi is an ancient practice that has its origins in China. It is a mind/body practice that incorporates breath and gentle movements to focus the mind. This program will assist the body in recovering from illness and maintaining wellness.

Join avid hobby gardener, Mr. Max, from CCPL's Finksburg Branch for a presentation on the state of our environment.

Hop into spring with an adorable bunny cake. Learn to make a basic cake and buttercream frosting and turn them into a decorated treat you can take home. One registration per family, max family size of four.

Breastfeeding can be challenging and emotional for new moms. Come share, support, socialize, and help one another in a non-judgmental environment. Siblings welcome. This support group is led by Susan Weyer, RN, IBCLC.
