Description

Author Elaine Meyers will discuss her research and writing process and read from her novel Iron Pants. Her presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and a discussion of the importance of family stories with program participants. She will sign any books brought to the program. Elaine served as a children's librarian, storyteller, puppeteer, and administrator at Carroll County Public Library from 1974 to 1978. You might remember her puppet, Duckie, and the fun that was had with books and puppets during these years.
