Week Calendar

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you-like environment.

This beginner-level laser cutter class will walk you through design basics, machine use, and safety procedures.

Join us for this energetic and interactive storytime. Explore your favorite children's books (and discover some new ones) through song, dance, and creative movement!    

In this group cooking class, we will make quick-rise cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting from scratch. One registration is good for up to 4 attendees, with a minimum of 2 per group.

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome. 

Trained reading dogs from My Caring Paws will be here to enjoy a meet-and-greet with new adult friends!

Experience the many benefits of yoga and meditation. This class, taught by Rebecca Berg, welcomes students of all levels. Adaptations for using a chair will be shared if participants are uncomfortable getting on the floor.

CCPL's Taneytown Branch is holding a monthly Super Smash Bros. tournament for kids, so join us to show you're the best player your age in town! There will be no prizes, just glory for the winner!

Join this friendly crochet group open to beginners and experienced crocheters alike. Those new to crocheting should bring a size J hook and a light-colored, worsted-weight yarn to the class.

This is an inclusive visit with book-loving therapy dogs for people and children of all abilities. Research shows that reading to animals boosts reading skills, helps with social skills, and emotional health for all ages.

Enjoy the soothing sounds of piano or harp as Lydia Bandy fills the library with beautiful, calming music.

Kindness is contagious. Decorate a rock or two and help spread happiness and beauty throughout our community. Rocks donated by Westminster Lawn Service Landscape Supply Yards.

Tiny thoughts lead to big ideas! Paint a mini canvas and create tiny art masterpieces to display in the library. Participants may paint their canvas in the library or take a kit home. Canvases will be available while supplies last.

Turn an ordinary T-shirt into something special! Bring a plain colored T-shirt with you and learn how to turn it into something fancy.

The library is more than just books. It's a place to come together as a community. We welcome teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers to join us for games, crafts, music, and more!
