Week Calendar

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you-like environment.

Are you in need of service hours? Do you like working outside and don't mind getting your hands dirty? If so, this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!

Join the fun as we learn about forces, then create Star Wars-inspired crafts -- a DIY lightsaber and Chewbacca or Baby Yoda puppet.

A theme-based storytime featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement.

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome.

Are you interested in improving your language skills? Join us for Spanish Bilingual Storytime! There will be singing, dancing, activities, stories, and rhymes in Spanish and English.

This month's selection is All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir.

Learn how to make New Orleans-style beignets, the soft and pillowy fried doughnuts covered in powdered sugar. While our dough proofs, we'll make traditional New Orleans-style coffee with chickory.

Revision Division's Kimberly Hunt will present common errors writers make and offer a "first line frenzy" review session, where attendees can submit the first lines of their works-in-progress to get feedback.

Welcome adventurers! Join our table as we embark on fun-filled campaign! Our game is friendly to both new and returning players. Our characters are currently level 2.

We welcome teens and adults with developmental disabilities or who are neurodivergent, along with their caregivers, to join us for an hour of movement, games, and fun!

How do you make paper flowers? With paper from gently used books, of course! Join us as we create beautiful flowers that will be easy to maintain with no water required. All supplies will be provided. 

This month's selection is The Things We Keep by Sally Hepworth. 

Create a model robot out of recycled materials. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring clean recyclables to use and share.

Join us to explore Tinkercad's 3D design capabilities further. Utilizing both basic and intermediate design tools and methods, we'll make 3D-printed dice. Previous Tinkercad experience is strongly recommended.

Tai chi is an ancient practice that has its origins in China. It is a mind/body practice that incorporates breath and gentle movements to focus the mind. This program will assist the body in recovering from illness and maintaining wellness.
