Week Calendar

A special storytime just for preschoolers! Activities will promote pre-reading and school-readiness skills in preparation for kindergarten. Adult caregivers are welcome.

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you-like environment.

What is a Card Kit Box? It's a box full of fun for crafty adults!

Adventure through the world of art and explore different ways for little artists to express their creativity! Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. All supplies will be provided.

Find out what makes an apple a good baking apple. Try some samples and choose the types of apples to use in your pie. Prepare a scratch pie crust and assemble the pie here, then take it home to bake right away or freeze for later.

Get together at the library for a fun social time for you and your children. We’ll provide the space, toys, and activities, you provide the fun. Play is an important part of developing early literacy skills.

It's a DIY frenzy! We've gathered extras of our favorite crafts from past storytimes and programs, and we need your help to bring them to life. Join us for an afternoon of cutting, pasting, drawing, and creating.

Come to the library and read a story to a book-loving dog from My Caring Paws. Research shows that reading to animals can boost reading skills in children as well as help with emotional and social skills.

Librarian Joy Zimmer will teach you how to play Saboteur at City Park Gaming & Brew Room! An adult must accompany all participants under the age of 18. The library will not cover the cost of beverages or snacks.
