Music, Tutus, and Movement!

Ballet Embody will be performing selections from their original ballets An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe and The Maryland Nutcracker, as well as traditional classical ballet dances and contemporary dance pieces, intertwining a fun and engaging lecture demonstration on how ballet has evolved through the last several centuries. Audience members are invited to ask questions about ballet technique, storytelling, what it's like to be a ballerina, etc., at the end of the performance.
