Day Calendar

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you-like environment.

Staff from the Carroll County Department of Social Services will be available to share community resources and DSS services; offer application assistance for SNAP, TCA, MA, and more; and assist with child support services. 

Come see Ryan the Bug Man and his amazing collection of live and carefully preserved bugs! Learn all about the colors of the bugs in our world and get a chance to touch the bugs too.

A dance party for our youngest crowd! Dress up or get comfy for a silly hour of dancing and singing!

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome.

CCPL's Taneytown Branch will partner with Carroll County Public Schools and the US Department of Agriculture to provide free summer meals for kids and teens. There is no enrollment or cost; meals will be served from 12 PM until 1 PM.

Is summer vacation too hot to handle? Cool off with Water Balloon Wednesdays! Be prepared for a splash, and bring your own towel! The program is weather-dependent.
