Description
The library is partnering with the Sykesville Painting Club to offer this workshop by Kathleen Clancy. Gouache resist uses cheaper water-soluble gouache to create a design that is then covered with India ink. The gouache is washed off, leaving an image that looks similar to a woodblock print. Then, watercolors are used to highlight.
