Program Description
Description
Learn how to use templates to make a reversible breadbasket. You will make a fabric breadbasket with mitered corners and cuffed; the final project will be 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. Previous sewing experience is necessary.
Students should bring the following supplies to class:
- Fabric: 45" wide piece of 100% cotton light-weight home decor fabric, pre-washed and dried
- For 1 basket:
- 5/8 yard of main fabric
- 5/8 yard of contrasting fabric for lining
- 1/2 yard medium-weight fusible interfacing
- Matching thread
!! You must have Exploration Commons sewing machines certification to register for this class. !! Registrants without a sewing certification will be canceled. If you wish to bring your own machine to this class, please contact Exploration Commons for prior approval.
