Program Description

Description

Have a box of old letters, photographs, or papers tucked away in the attic? This preservation workshop will help you decide what to keep, how to preserve your items, and how to digitize them. Our panel of experts includes Gwen Coddington, Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at McDaniel College's Hoover Library; Shel Burton, Metadata Specialist at the Sandy Spring Museum in Sandy Spring, Maryland; and David Powell, genealogist, teacher, and Treasurer of the Carroll County Genealogical Society.

This program is part of the Carroll 250 Speaker Series celebrating the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence.
