Program Description
Description
This program has been canceled, we hope to reschedule in the future.
Local caner Rick Barrick is fond of antique treasures, most especially chairs. Twelve years ago, he learned how to revive and save the life of chairs in need of caning by taking a traditional art class at the Carroll County Farm Museum; he has saved hundreds of chairs, including antique American ones. Watch Barrick as he weaves natural materials together to create a surface that is sturdy and surprisingly strong. Bring your questions, and even your small chairs, and Rick will have the answers.
