ABOUT THE AUTHOR

After spending much of his twenties grousing about not writing, Alan began writing seriously at the behest of his wife. He has written both under his name and under the pseudonym of Allison Montclair. His work has appeared in several mystery and science fiction magazines and has won numerous awards. Alan is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Chicago School of Law. He finished up nearly forty years as a public defender with the NYC Legal Aid Society and now writes full-time. He lives in NYC with his wife who is his First Reader and In-House Muse. He is no longer thirty.
