Week Calendar

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay-as-long-as-you-like environment.

Stop by for Coffee and Conversations with Andrea Berstler, Executive Director of Carroll County Public Library. Have coffee with Andrea and an open discussion on the library and what our plans are for the future.

Come to the library and decorate rocks with positive sayings or inspiring drawings (rainbows or happy faces etc.), then place them in your neighborhood's public spaces for others to discover.

A theme-based storytime featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, concentrating on creative movement.

Create your own superhero identity by making some action-packed crafts and use your superpowers to conquer some challenging games.

Join us for this energetic and interactive storytime. Explore your favorite children’s books (and find some new ones) through song, dance, and creative movement!    

Start the day with a fun yoga presentation designed with kids in mind! We will be outside on the library's lawn near the flagpole, so wear sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome.

Join us for storytime at the Wildwood Park gazebo! We'll share books, stories, rhymes, music, and movement. Talk, sing, read, write, and play together in a format appropriate for young children.

Bring your writing, works-in-progress, or works-in-thought. This writing group allows beginners, unpublished, and published writers to network, learn, vent, and feel inspired to move to the next level.

Child car safety seats can be very challenging to install! The Carroll County Health Department will perform car seat checks and assist families to ensure that child seats are correctly installed in vehicles.

Join us for some outdoor activities as we play with bubbles and chalk! We will have fun blowing bubbles of all sizes and decorating our sidewalk with your colorful chalk artwork.
