Sykesville Painting Club: Watercolor Workshop

In this workshop, Stacy Levy will share her approach to painting animals with two colors: ultramarine blue and burnt sienna. While the focus will be on capturing the characteristics of fur as well as the animal’s personality, these techniques can be applied to any subject. Stacy will share tips on mixing neutral colors to create rich undertones and subtle warms and cools and also demonstrate the versatility of masking fluid as a way to capture intricate details of feathers and fur.
