Program Description

Description

A Human Library is a safe space where human "Books" share their stories with "Readers" who attend the event. At the event, Readers and Books have a 20-minute conversation, asking questions and discussing their shared experiences and differing perspectives. The goal of this event is to create a dialogue and understanding between people in our communities. The Human Library is designed to be a welcoming, inclusive, non-partisan space.
