Dare to Dream Poster Contest

Pick up your kit to participate in a poster contest sponsored by South Carroll Lioness-Lions Club. This year's theme is Dare to Dream. The contest is exclusively for children 11 - 13 who meet birthdate eligibility. Kits will be available at the library starting September 25 and will be due back by October 23. Monetary prizes will be awarded. Further details are available at the Information Desk. 

Contest Details

• Eligible birthdates are November 16, 2009, to November 15, 2012 (ages 11, 12, or 13 on November 15, 2023).
• Artwork must be no smaller than 13" x20" and no larger than 20" x24". Please do not mat or frame.
• All media is accepted; if chalk, charcoal, or pastels are used, it should be sealed with a fixative spray. Do not laminate. 
• No 3-dimensional pictures, and please do not use glue or staples.
• No lettering or numbering on the front of the poster.
• No signatures or initials on the front of the poster. 
• Local contest winners will be awarded $75 for 1^st place, $50 for 2^nd, and $25 for 3^rd and may advance to district and national levels. 
• Kits will be available at the library starting September 25 and will be due back by October 23.
