Description
Participate in a philosophical discussion group on a different topic each week. The conversation is not directed toward consensus nor is it a debate to be won; the objective is to share everyone's knowledge in the group and to widen and illuminate the subject. Topics will include questions like the following: Does competition bring out our best or our worst? If you aren't truthful and you don't get caught, did you do anything wrong? Does language limit creativity? Who is responsible for understanding, the speaker or the listener? Registration is for five sessions in June.
