Soldering is fun and fundamental to a wide assortment of maker electronic projects and modern technology. From simple light-up LEDs to complex robots, solder is the glue that holds the technological world together.

Learn the basics to feel comfortable using a sewing machine. This introductory-level class includes the EC sewing machine certification necessary for many other classes and/or independent sewing machine use in the makerspace.

Discover an easy, high-protein meal, Fish en Papillote, that uses a simple cooking technique that keeps fish tender and flavorful.

Every dog enjoys a good story! Trained "reading dogs" provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere for kids to practice reading. Research shows that reading to animals can boost reading skills in children and help with emotional and social skills.

We will be breaking out the mini remote-controlled Sphero robots. We will be doing programming with them as well as running them through races and obstacle courses.

Enjoy an easy, one-pan dinner featuring spring vegetables and Mediterranean flavors. This recipe will be accompanied by a presentation on the Mediterranean diet by a registered dietitian.

Create a kitchen keepsake by turning a handwritten recipe into an engraved wooden recipe card! We'll learn some of the basics of Adobe Illustrator and utilize scanning to bring our handwritten recipes into a digital, engravable format.

This class will prepare five different sheet pan dinners to sample: Rosemary Garlic Pork Chops with Chickpeas, All-Crust Chicken Pot Pie, Gnocchi with Sausage and Peppers, Garlic Lime Salmon Fajitas, and No-Fry Eggplant Parmesan.
