Get into the patriotic spirit for Independence Day with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP is a humanitarian and educational organization serving communities across America through aerospace education, a youth program (for teens), and emergency services. CAP is a congressionally chartered non-profit organization and an auxiliary of the United States Air Force.
Watch a color guard ceremony, honor our country, and experience what makes up CAP. This drop-in open house event will also feature hands-on STEM activities, including a flight simulator and more. Civil Air Patrol membership is open to ages 12 to adult, but children are welcome to attend our library program.
