Program Description

Description

National Treasure Hunt podcast hosts and authors Aubrey Paris and Emily Black will present an interactive, family-friendly lecture connecting the dots between Carroll County and the beloved National Treasure film franchise, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024. Learn the history behind the films’ infamous plotlines, understand the science underpinning the characters’ heists, and discover behind-the-scenes secrets from production. Following the lecture, Paris and Black will sign copies of their book, National Treasure Hunt: One Step Short of Crazy, which will be available for purchase.

This program is part of the Carroll 250 Speaker Series celebrating the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence.
