The Maryland Insurance Administration is a state agency that can help you better understand the coverages on your insurance policy so that you are a well-informed consumer. The agency also investigates the handling or settlement of a claim on your behalf. Then it determines whether actions taken by your insurer or insurance producer are in compliance with Maryland law. The Maryland Insurance Administration will answer questions on-site at CCPL's Eldersburg Branch.
