Barn Quilt Celebration

Carroll County Public Library is proud to unveil a full-size barn quilt that will be displayed on the side of Exploration Commons at 50 East and Westminster Branch on March 1, 2023. We invite the community to watch the unveiling at 12PM noon on March 1 either in-person or through Facebook Live. We will have light refreshments available all day in Exploration Commons at 50 East, as well as a table set up with information on a number of quilting-themed programs happening at Exploration Commons at 50 East during the month of March for National Quilting Month as well as fun activities like coloring pages for the whole family to enjoy. Exploration Commons at 50 East will also be selling commemorative Barn Quilt ornaments for the entire month of March.

The Carroll County Barn Quilt Trail is a collaborative project undertaken by the Carroll County Arts Council, the Carroll County Office of Tourism, the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks and Carroll County Public Library. Ever growing, Carroll County’s Barn Quilt Trail boasts of over 47 different barn quilts throughout the county.
