Week Calendar

Writers of all levels and genres are invited to join our weekly writing group. It is a flexible, drop-in, stay as long as you like, environment.

Do you have a child that loves the violin but you’re not sure if they are ready for lessons? Join the Ready, Set, VIOLIN class to find out!

Get together at the library for a fun social time for you and your children. We’ll provide the space, toys, and activities, you provide the fun. Play is an important part of developing early literacy skills.

A theme-based storytime featuring an age-appropriate story, songs, and learning activities, with a concentration on creative movement.

Learning new technology should be fun, not intimidating! Join us for a very basic hands-on session where we'll create a simple 3D design project to be printed on the Exploration Commons 3D printers. Previous basic computer experience is required.

Join the Mount Airy Knitters for a weekly roundtable of knitting, conversation, and fun. All experience levels are welcome. 

Join us for a special storytime with author Emma Straub as she reads from her new picture book, Very Good Hats.

This hands-on class will cover everything you need to know about caring for your knives and how to use them. You’ll learn how to chop, dice, and mince and get plenty of practice with other professional cuts.

Explore traditional fairy tales with a STEAM twist! We'll incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and/or math activities to extend the fun!

It's cold outside, perfect weather for a snowman! Join us for stories, songs, and crafts about our favorite winter friend.

Attendees will learn how to read basic sewing patterns, cut and sew a tabard, sew trim, and customize a vinyl design for the front of the tabard. Great for cosplay, Renn fests, D&D campaign costumes, and more!
