If you enjoy reading poetry, chances are you enjoy writing it, too! Join our informal monthly poetry writing group, where we'll share a cup of tea, discuss poetry topics, and write poetry. All experience levels are welcome.

In this intermediate-level laser design class, we will demonstrate and teach users how to design their custom-cut puzzles using different tools in Adobe Illustrator and Epilog's laser cutting software.

Learn how to combine watercolor with ink. Hear about the variety of art pens we can use for ink and watercolor artwork. John Kachik will demonstrate and guide us step-by-step. 

Come to the library to visit with or read to book-loving therapy dogs. Research shows that reading to animals boosts reading skills in children and helps with social skills and emotional health for all ages.

Every dog enjoys a good story! Trained reading dogs from My Caring Paws will provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere for kids to practice reading.

Journey forth, young adventurers, and partake in a quest of jumping, spinning, balancing, and more in the great outdoors!

The program is weather-dependent. 

Join us for Monday Matinees! Enjoy a favorite family movie. Blankets and pillows are welcome! All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Moana is rated PG.

Help celebrate our Summer Reading theme, Adventures Begins at Your Library, through a community art project! Do you have a favorite adventure you want to paint, either something you did or read?

We will create our own custom s'mores stations with an engraved design on the front of a wooden box to hold marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. We will finish with a quick assembly of s'mores items in the kitchen.

Experience the many benefits of yoga and meditation. This class, taught by Rebecca Berg, welcomes students of all levels. Adaptations for using a chair will be shared if participants are uncomfortable getting on the floor.

Get further acquainted with the sewing machine and basic tools of the trade. Learn how to work with different-weight fabrics and sew a boxed corner.
