Program Type: STEM/STEAM
Age Group:
Everyone ( All Ages )

Description

Fifty years have passed since man first walked on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Join Solar System Ambassador Erin Gambrill for a special program on the Apollo missions of the 1960s and '70s. Six Apollo missions landed astronauts safely on the Moon's surface; the only times humans have visited another world. Share the adventure as we celebrate Earth's Moon and handle actual lunar samples (moon rocks) from NASA.
