Adventure Begins at Your Library this summer, and we want you to come along! Join the celebration with crafts, games, fun, and food throughout the branch.

Kick off the summer with this month's selection, the classic thriller The Night of the Hunter, starring Robert Mitchum and Shelley Winters. 

Come to our Summer Reading Celebration with games, crafts, and ice cream from the Cow! Bring a chair and hang out in our gardens for the festivities!

Join multiple Parents' Choice Award winner Mr. Jon & Friends for a musical comedy show for the whole family. Mr. Jon and his silly friend George the Monkey will have you dancing, laughing, and singing along.

Join us for a friendly and informal group gathering to practice speaking Spanish together. All levels are welcome. This program is led by a partner from The Literacy Council of Carroll County.

Join us as we kick off Summer Reading, Adventure Begins at Your Library, with games, crafts, and prizes! This event will be held outside in our park (weather permitting). Feel free to bring sunscreen and water if it is hot and sunny!

CCPL's Taneytown Branch will partner with Carroll County Public Schools and the US Department of Agriculture to provide free summer meals for kids and teens.

Join us for a fun and creative afternoon of folding books into beautiful, eye-catching decorations. Available while supplies last.

Tiny thoughts lead to big ideas! Paint a mini canvas and create tiny art masterpieces to display in the library. Participants may paint their canvas in the library or take a kit home. Canvases will be available while supplies last.

Celebrate National Ocean Month with a variety of activities for the whole family.
