Program Description
Description
We all have stories to tell, but to do it in writing requires an understanding of what a memoir is. It is not just an essay; a good memoir is another form of storytelling. A successful one will incorporate tools used by fiction writers: the correct balance between narrative and dialogue, the use of action, the need for a climax, etc. Participants will work on exercises that enhance these skills and receive constructive feedback.
