FCBD 2025: Zine Workshop & Giveaways

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day 2025 by joining us for an exciting, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of creating zines and comics with Evan and Britt Sabo, a local cartoonist, illustrator, and zine-making duo! You can look forward to a short class on the rich history of zines and their place in the comics sphere, followed by an informational tutorial on creating your own unique zines. You may also bring your art, sketchbook, or a synopsis of your current story-driven project (novel, graphic novel, video game, or any type of story) if you would like feedback from Evan and/or Britt. Drawing during class is encouraged, and all artistic levels are welcome, so express yourself, get creative, and make connections and some cool comics! 

At the end of the workshop, all attendees will have access to a variety of 2025's free comic books, provided in collaboration with Gotham Comics.
