Paco Samb and Super Ngewel: West African Drumming, Dance, Songs, and Storytelling

CCPL's Mount Airy Branch is honored to welcome Paco Samb and Super Ngewel to our community for a special musical event! Pape Demba "Paco" Samb is a Senegalese musician and keeper of his ancestral history. When he performs, he shares stories and music of his native Wolof people. Paco and Super Ngewel will play drums such as djembes, dun duns, tamas, and sabars. Enjoy drumming, dancing, singing, and storytelling as the performers play music traditionally performed in Senegal, Africa.
