Using the Bay-Wise Yardstick for Gardens

The Yardstick for Gardens presentation offers many suggestions for planning your garden or modifying your present garden in sustainable ways. Our goal is to design a garden that uses water wisely, manages garden pests and diseases with integrated pest management, and nurtures the soil. You will learn how to measure your progress using the Yardstick for Gardens. Completion of the Yardstick will earn a sign for your garden showing you are a Bay-Wise gardener. This program is presented by the Bay-Wise Committee of Carroll County Master Gardeners.
