Sykesville Painting Club Workshop

Karen Peck will teach about tones, the lightness or darkness of colors used in artwork. Artists use this range to create contrast, depth, and form in their compositions. By the end of this workshop, we will learn how to create value in our paintings. Value is considered one of the most important variables to the success of a painting. Karen will demonstrate and teach in pastels; however, participants can use whatever medium they are comfortable with.
