Summer Reads: Ben Kahn

Ben Kahn is a critically-acclaimed writer of comic books and novels working in New York City. Ben has been writing for over a decade and has worked with a variety of publishers, including Dark Horse Comics, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, and Tokyopop. ​

Their notable work includes the Ignatz Award-nominated series Heavenly Blues (Scout Comics), the GLAAD Award-nominated graphic novel Renegade Rule (Dark Horse), the comic book tie-in to Ubisoft's Immortals Fenyx Rising, their prose novel debut, Elle Campbell Wins Their Weekend (Scholastic), and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon REMIX (Tokyopop.)

Ben will be in conversation with ALA Stonewall Honoree author Aliza Layne and signing books following the author discussion. Copies of Elle Campbell Wins Their Weekend will be available for purchase from Rudolph Girls, while supplies last; books from home are allowed. Refreshments will be provided by PFLAG Westminster-Carroll County.
