Program Description

Description

Recording oral histories helps preserve family stories and community memories for future generations. Diane Boettcher, past president of the Carroll County Genealogical Society, will share her experience and demonstrate how to conduct oral history interviews. Discover the importance of preserving community narratives and how your story contributes to our shared history.

This program is part of the Carroll 250 Speaker Series celebrating the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence.
