Program Description

Description

Retired teacher and Master Naturalist-in-training Adreon Hubbard presents a workshop on monarch butterflies. Learn about their miraculous metamorphosis from egg to caterpillar to pupa to butterfly as well as their impressive migration to Mexico and what you can do to help this at-risk insect. Ms. Hubbard uses visuals, movement and possibly some live Monarchs to engage the whole family! Note: This is an outdoor event. Bring your own blanket or seating. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the program will be moved indoors.
