Meeting Description
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway
Administration (MDOT SHA) invites you to attend an open house
about a project to replace two steel girder bridges on MD 91
(Emory Road) in Finksburg, Carroll County. The two bridges, which
were built in 1967 and are nearing the end of their useful service
life, are less than 300 feet apart and carry MD 91 over the north
branch of the Patapsco River and the Maryland Midland Railroad
tracks. The replacement bridges will include two 12-foot lanes
with an eight-foot shoulder on each side.
This meeting will provide attendees an opportunity to view
construction details. Maps and displays will depict the
proposed improvements, and MDOT SHA representatives will
be available to answer project-related questions.
There will be no formal presentation. You may arrive at any
time during the open house hours and walk through the
display area at your own pace.
