What do seed saving, Carroll County’s first residents, and Henry VIII have in common? Local author and avid seed saver Linda Johnson will discuss her historical novel, Little Turtle Island. Linda will connect all the dots as she delves into this adventurous tale set in the early 1500s amid the stupendous beauty of the natural world along the banks of the Susquehanna River through the pine barrens of New Jersey and across the ocean to the mudflats of England’s Môr Hafren.
