Description

Staff from the Monocacy National Battlefield will be giving a presentation on local Civil War history. The will discuss slavery in the Frederick area during the mid-1800s and the the14th New Jersey Regiment who were stationed at Pine Grove during the Civil War. The 14th New Jersey Regiment was called to fight at the Battle of Monocacy and the presenters will help us research the details of those experiences.
