Battle of the Books Kickoff: Gordon Korman

Gordon Korman is a regular guy who has written over 100 books for kids and teens. He is the bestselling author of Restart, the Macdonald Hall series, I Want to Go Home, Slacker, and The Unteachables. The Battle of the Books features Korman's The Superteacher Project, a hilarious story of a mysterious new teacher who turns out to be an AI robot from a secret experimental program. His latest book, Old School, features Dexter Foreman, who is twelve going on eighty. He is homeschooled in his grandmother’s retirement community…until he is forced to go to public school. An author talk will be followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
