Adding lights or sound to any cosplay project can be a great way to make you stand out in the crowd. In this introductory seminar, we'll examine the design and coding of an Arduino-based solution to lighting up a lightsaber prop and giving it the iconic sound effects we know and love (or some custom sounds of your own). We'll also cover available resources for learning electronics and programming microcontrollers using the Arduino platform.
