Description

Brood X periodical cicadas are here and they are partying in the trees. This talk will cover biological information, how they are different from our normal cicadas, what to expect from them and how to get the most out of this natural phenomenon. 

Emily Zobel is the Agriculture extension agent for Dorchester County, MD. She received her B.S. in Ecology and M.S. in Entomology from the University of Maryland. Her background is in integrated pest management (IPM) and sustainable agriculture practices on vegetable crops.
