Program Description
Description
Books can open the door to discovery for children and give them a head start in learning the art of living. They can inspire families to explore thoughtfully, with optimism, compassion, and joy as they face the problems and challenges of life.
It's easy to know when your child needs help dealing with a fever or a broken bone, but mental health problems can sometimes be harder to identify. Join Carroll County E-SMART and Carroll County Public Library for storytimes to help caregivers and children learn and talk about behaviors and moods that are usual for each stage of development or when extra help is needed.
Special guest Alycia Chapman, PsyD, Licensed Psychologist at the Carroll County Youth Services Bureau, will be reading Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns We Can All Get Along by Howard Binkow.
