Brighten Your Winter with Indoor Plants

Join Sue Christiansen of the Home Horticulture Program of the Carroll County Extension Office, as she discusses houseplant history, why there is a current craze for indoor plants, and what has changed in houseplant offerings to the consumer. She will also discuss the typical foliage plants you will encounter and general care/problems. Carroll County Master Gardeners will be developing an RX clinic in the future to help citizens diagnose houseplant problems from choosing the right pot/repotting, soils, pests, diseases, and indoor sitting/care issues particular to the plant.
