Description

Join CCPL and A Likely Story Bookstore for a virtual author event with Baltimore's own bestselling author, Laura Lippman. Since Laura Lippman's debut in 1997, she has been recognized as a distinctive voice in mystery fiction and named one of the "essential" crime writers of the last 100 years. Her books have won most of the major awards in her field and been translated into more than twenty languages. Her latest work, My Life as a Villainess: Essays, offers long-time readers insights into the experiences that helped Lippman become one of the most successful crime novelists of her generation.

Laura will be interviewed by Angela Haupt, a freelance writer and full-time health editor in D.C. Her pieces have appeared in publications including Express, various Washington Post sections, Women's Health magazine, USA Today, and Vice.
