Amazing Migration!

Learn how birds fly and where they go in this program! We'll discuss some of the mechanics of bird flight and how certain adaptations lead to different types of flight. We'll create some paper planes to test these ideas! Then we'll discuss bird migration including all the perils they face on their long journey. Finally, we'll wrap everything up with a fun life-size board game called Fowl Play to learn more about the birds that migrate to or through the Chesapeake Bay.
