ATTENTION: This event will have assigned seating. Parties who wish to sit together should purchase tickets together in the same transaction. Groups of 2 or more will be seated together, if at all possible. Tables seat 8 attendees. If you wish to purchase a table, please purchase 8 tickets. If you do not know all of the names at the time of purchase, you can email them later to greatreads@carr.org.
Day for Book Lovers is presented by Carroll County Public Library and A Likely Story Bookstore. The event is proudly supported by HarperCollins Publishers and Sourcebooks.
Day for Book Lovers features morning and afternoon author talks, book signings, a deli buffet lunch, and a book buzz preview of new and upcoming releases.
Tickets will be available until we sell out or September 9, whichever comes first.
About the Authors
Beatriz Williams is the bestselling author of thirteen novels, including The Wicked Widow, Our Woman in Moscow, and Her Last Flight, The Summer Wives, and The Golden Hour, as well as All the Ways We Said Goodbye, cowritten with Lauren Willig and Karen White. A native of Seattle, she graduated from Stanford University and earned an MBA in finance from Columbia University. She lives with her husband and four children near the Connecticut shore, where she divides her time between writing and laundry.
Lauren Willig is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of twenty novels, including Band of Sisters, The Summer Country, The Ashford Affair, and The English Wife. Lauren co-writes several bestselling novels with Karen White and Beatriz Williams. She lives in New York City with her husband and family.
Sarah Horowitz is professor of history at W&L University, where she is also head of the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies program. She teaches classes on the history of France, gender and sexuality, and crime and scandal. She is the author of The Red Widow: The Scandal that Shook Paris and the Woman Behind it All. She lives in Virginia with her wife and wildly over-confident puppy.
**Refund Policy: Refund requests will be considered up until 9/1/2022. After that ticket holders unable to attend will still receive signed copies of the two books.
